One platform. Every system you run. Outcomes you can prove.
Unify data, surface insight, act on it — and measure every action against a comparison group.
Seventy-five seconds: how the platform unifies data, surfaces insight, and measures every action.
Eliminate the Gaps That Hold Students Back
Student success efforts rarely fail for lack of care. They fail because teams work in silos, act too late, and cannot see what is working. Civitas connects data, insight, and action so teams coordinate support and act in time.
- Fragmented systems and siloed data
- Limited visibility into what's working
- Inconsistent, reactive engagement
- Difficulty measuring ROI

Questions institutions ask about institutional impact platform
Short answers, in the words a cabinet uses. For anything not here, ask us directly.
What is the Institutional Impact Platform?
Civitas Learning's single platform for unifying institutional data, predicting student outcomes, acting inside existing workflows, and measuring each action's result. It was previously named the Student Impact Platform. Leaders get analytics, student-facing staff get a unified profile and coordinated outreach, and students get planning and scheduling tools.
Which systems does the platform integrate with?
More than 100: Banner, PeopleSoft, Colleague, and Workday Student (SIS); Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, and Moodle (LMS); Slate, Salesforce, Element451, CollegeVine, and TargetX (CRM); plus engagement tools, the campus card system, surveys, and your warehouse.
Do we have to replace anything, and can Civitas be our advising CRM?
Nothing has to be replaced, and Civitas can be your advising CRM if you want. It ships case management, shared notes, alerts, outreach, degree planning, registration, scheduling, and a native student mobile app, so you can consolidate onto it. Or it sits beside your existing CRM, early alert tool, or agent platform and writes back to them. The SIS and LMS are never replaced.
Who uses the platform day to day?
Three groups. Leaders use outcome analytics, predictive factors of success, initiative analytics, course insights, and course demand analytics. Student-facing staff use the unified profile, case management, shared notes, alerts, dynamic lists, and email and SMS outreach. Students use degree planning, the schedule builder, registration, appointment scheduling, asynchronous guidance, and the native student mobile app.
How is the platform different from a data warehouse or a BI dashboard?
A warehouse stores data and a dashboard displays it; neither predicts what will happen to a named student or measures whether an action changed the outcome. The platform adds six institution-specific models (persistence, graduation, engagement, thriving, grades, and career outcomes), the workflow to act on them, and comparison-group measurement. The data layer →
What results have institutions seen?
Northwest Missouri State University increased retention 8% from 2016 to 2021. Slippery Rock University reached 86.4% first-year retention, its highest on record (preliminary, pending PASSHE verification). Austin Community College moved fall-to-spring persistence from 70.8% to 74.9%. See the stories →
How long does it take to get live?
Six weeks at Lawrence Technological University. What moves the date: the number of source systems, the state of the data, and how quickly system owners can meet.
Is AI included, or is it a separate product?
AI is built into the platform, not sold beside it. There is no token metering, no per-agent purchase, and no separate agent platform to implement. Civitas Learning AI →
