Comparisons, written by us, with the other side's case included.
Buyers compare us to three or four products. Rather than leave that to a review site, here is each comparison in full — including what the other product does better.
Civitas Learning vs. EAB Navigate360
Both help institutions coordinate student support. They differ on what the prediction is trained on, and on whether the platform can tell you what an initiative changed.

Questions about choosing a platform
Short answers, in the words a cabinet uses. For anything not here, ask us directly.
How does Civitas Learning compare to other student success platforms?
Civitas Learning is the flexible one: it can be your advising CRM, with case management, planning, registration, scheduling, and a native student mobile app, or it can read from the CRM you already run and write back to it. Either way it predicts outcomes with a model trained on your own history and reports the lift each initiative produced against a matched comparison group. Most competitors require advising to move into their system. The category, explained →
Do we have to replace what we already own?
No, and you can if you want to. Civitas reads from more than 100 systems, including Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday Student, Canvas, Slate, Salesforce, Element451, and CollegeVine, and writes actions and results back to them. It never replaces the SIS or the LMS. For advising, Civitas ships its own CRM, so an institution can consolidate onto it instead of renewing another contract.
What should we ask every vendor?
What the model is trained on, how risk is identified, how often the model is refreshed, what lift they can show against a comparison group, which of your systems they replace, and how long until an advisor sees a prediction about a real student. The full ten-question checklist →
